The lifestyle score is a composite index of 3 key parameters:
Active Minutes, RHR & Sleep.
Active Minutes: As per international activity guidelines, 30 mins of “moderate intensity” activity (fat burn — heart rate zone) in a single continuous session, is set as a benchmark for you to achieve every day. Accordingly, we have a system of grading the daily physical activities that you perform as below:
>30 mins of activity: ideal zone (dark green)
20–30 mins of activity: intermediate zone (light green)
<20 mins of activity: poor zone (amber)
Resting Heart Rate (RHR): Resting heart rate is increasingly being considered as a key metric of cardiovascular fitness. The average RHR values for most healthy people lie between 60–80 bpm. However, being in a zone from 50 to 65 bpm is set as an optimal benchmark.
<= 64 beats/min: ideal zone (dark green)
65–84 beats/min: intermediate zone (light green)
>= 85 beats/min: poor zone (amber)
Sleep: Sleep deprivation has a negative impact on physical and mental health. As per a large body of scientific evidence, most adults should get 7–8 hrs of sleep everyday to optimize sleep-health benefits.
>7 hours: ideal zone (dark green)
6–7 hours: intermediate zone (light green)
<6 hours: poor zone (amber)
So, the Serotonin Wellness score is the sum total of your lifestyle habits, exercise, RHR, and the tracked consumption of your personalised supplement stack. One glance at the app home screen is enough to tell you what component you need to complete on that day, to get your 100 score!!
